What is Telehealth?
Telehealth simply means you, the patient, accessing clinical services from a qualified doctor using electronic communications and software, without actually visiting the doctor yourself in person. Telehealth allows health care professionals to evaluate, diagnose and treat patients without a face-to-face meeting. Telehealth technology is now frequently used for general medical consultations, follow-up visits, management of chronic conditions, medication management, specialist consultations and a host of other clinical services that can be provided remotely via secure video and audio.
Where it was once only available in limited circumstances from a few practitioners, telehealth has now evolved and become a widely-accepted mainstream way for you to access medical and health care. Using our telehealth platform, you can now consult an Australian Medical Board-certified doctor/GP in the comfort of our own home or office. Of course, a face-to-face consultation with your regular GP is the ideal consultation, however a consultation with National Telemedicine Doctors is an effective and convenient alternative, when a face-to-face consultation is not possible. During your consultation your National Telemedicine Doctor will advise you if an in-person visit to a medical practitioner is required.

Bulk billing means you do not have to pay for your medical service from a health practitioner. Instead of charging you directly, the health professional bills Medicare and accepts the Medicare benefit as full payment for the service.
How it works:
Step-1

Step-2
If you are eligible for a bulk billed telehealth consultation, our first available bulk billing doctor will call within an hour or as soon as possible on the telephone number that is registered with us as your contact phone number. If it is a video consultation, we will provide you with instructions on how to join the video call. Should you miss the phone or video call for any reason, you will need to call us back immediately to proceed with the consultation or to arrange another consultation.
